Hannah McKay captured the Miss Tennessee Volunteer title on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in Jackson, Tennessee. As Miss Tennessee Volunteer, Hannah will serve as the Governor’s Official Spokesperson for Character Education and earned the opportunity to compete for the Miss Volunteer America crown. For her school tour, she will champion the character trait “Care.”
Championing the platform Music and Memories, Hannah is proud to bring awareness to the Alzheimer's community and help bring her love of Music to each person she meets. Hannah won more than $11,000 in college scholarships, which she will use to further her education. She is currently has one degree from The University of Tennessee.
Hannah is a 22-year old. Hannah is a graduate for The University of Tennessee at Knoxville Haslam College of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing.
Representing the service-oriented mission of the Miss Tennessee Volunteer program, Hannah has logged hundreds of hours in service to organizations in and around the state of Tennessee. This includes volunteer hours at schools educating them about the importance of being kind and the impact music can make on your life.
In addition to her heart for service, Hannah wowed the judges with her talent performance. Hannah did her on version of “The Impossible Dream”. She sang the song and captivated the judges into making it the Possible Dream Come True.
Hannah will go on to compete at Miss Volunteer America in Jackson, Tennessee, on June 18-21, 2025.
Hannah is humbled and honored to have the unique opportunity to represent Miss Tennessee Volunteer’s mission of scholarship, education, responsibility, volunteerism, and empowerment and serve as a mentor to thousands of students across Tennessee.
