Karenna Rainey captured the Miss Tennessee Volunteer title on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in Jackson, Tennessee. As Miss Tennessee Volunteer, Karenna will serve as the Governor’s Official Spokesperson for Character Education and earned the opportunity to compete for the Miss Volunteer America crown. For her school tour, she will champion the character trait “Responsibility.”
Championing the platform S.M.A.R.T. Social Media and Responsible Technology Awareness, Karenna is proud to bring awareness to kids and the right way to use social media and technology, staying stay on the internet. Karenna won more than $10,000 in college scholarships, which she will use to further her education. She has one degree from The University of Tennessee at Martin. She is currently a masters student at The University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
Karenna is a 24-year old. Karenna is a graduate for The University of Tennessee at Martin with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance. She is pursuing her Master at The University of Tennessee at Knoxville in Strategic and Digital Communication.
Representing the service-oriented mission of the Miss Tennessee Volunteer program, Karenna has logged hundreds of hours in service to organizations in and around the state of Tennessee. This includes volunteer hours at schools educating them about the importance of being kind and that you maybe struggling you are not alone.
In addition to her heart for service, Karenna wowed the judges with her talent performance. Karenna did her on version of “Feeling Good”.
Karenna will go on to compete at Miss Volunteer America in Jackson, Tennessee, June of 2027.
Karenna is humbled and honored to have the unique opportunity to represent Miss Tennessee Volunteer’s mission of scholarship, education, responsibility, volunteerism, and empowerment and serve as a mentor to thousands of students across Tennessee.
