Meghan Poore captured the Miss Tennessee Volunteer title on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in Jackson, Tennessee. As Miss Tennessee Volunteer, Meghan will serve as the Governor’s Official Spokesperson for Character Education and earned the opportunity to compete for the Miss Volunteer America crown. For her school tour, she will champion the character trait “Respect.”
Championing the platform Gift of Time, Meghan is proud to bring awareness to those that have lost loved ones and are grieving in their own ways. Through her own loss she wants to share comfort that you are not alone. Meghan won more than $11,000 in college scholarships, which she will use to further her education. She is currently has one degree from The University of Tennessee at Martin. She is currently a student at Arnold’s Beauty School.
Meghan is a 23-year old. Meghan is a graduate for The University of Tennessee at Martin College of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.
Representing the service-oriented mission of the Miss Tennessee Volunteer program, Meghan has logged hundreds of hours in service to organizations in and around the state of Tennessee. This includes volunteer hours at schools educating them about the importance of being kind and that you maybe struggling you are not alone.
In addition to her heart for service, Meghan wowed the judges with her talent performance. Meghan did her on version of “Bridge Over Troubled Water”.
Meghan will go on to compete at Miss Volunteer America in Jackson, Tennessee, June of 2026.
Meghan is humbled and honored to have the unique opportunity to represent Miss Tennessee Volunteer’s mission of scholarship, education, responsibility, volunteerism, and empowerment and serve as a mentor to thousands of students across Tennessee.
